AppPin Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 27, 2026

AppPin is an App Store app bookmarking and lightweight management tool. We do not provide our own account system, do not operate a developer-hosted server for storing your app library, do not integrate ad tracking SDKs, and do not sell your personal information.

1. Information Processed on Your Device

To provide app search, saved apps, folders, notes, downloaded markers, recent views, price tracking, and version tracking, AppPin may store the following information locally on your device:

2. App Store, iCloud, and Apple Services

AppPin uses Apple's public iTunes Search API, Lookup API, and Apple Marketing Tools RSS data to search apps, show charts, display app details, and refresh price or version information for apps you save. This public app information is provided by Apple or app developers.

If you choose to upload or download iCloud data, your app library snapshot may be stored through Apple iCloud Documents / CloudKit in the iCloud space associated with your Apple ID. Apple provides the storage, sync, security, and deletion mechanisms for iCloud.

AppPin does not automatically uninstall other apps, does not read chat content, webpage bodies, photos, contacts, precise location, or personal files inside other apps, and does not bypass iOS permissions to access your device content.

3. Accounts, Advertising, and Payments

AppPin currently does not require you to register an account or sign in to a developer server. We do not integrate advertising SDKs, conduct cross-app advertising tracking, or sell your personal information.

AppPin offers monthly membership and lifetime membership in-app purchases. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, billing, taxes, and payment methods are handled by Apple App Store. We use StoreKit to load products, start purchases, restore purchases, and verify current entitlements. The current version does not process payment card information or user account information through a developer-operated server, and does not upload purchase credentials to a developer-operated server.

4. Third-Party SDKs and Libraries

The current version uses the following third-party SDKs or software libraries:

5. Information We Do Not Collect

6. How We Use Data

We process the local information described above only to provide features you choose to use, including searching apps, saving apps, organizing folders, recording notes, showing recent views, refreshing price or version changes, saving apps from the share sheet, importing or exporting your library, performing iCloud sync that you initiate, and locating and fixing crashes.

7. Retention, Deletion, and Permission Withdrawal

Local data remains on your device until you clear local data in the app, uninstall the app, or clear app data through system settings. If you use iCloud sync, related snapshots may remain in your iCloud space, and you can manage them through iCloud settings or other methods provided by Apple.

You can stop using iCloud sync, delete local data, or uninstall the app. Withdrawing network access may affect app search, charts, detail refresh, and price or version tracking features that rely on public App Store data.

8. Children

AppPin provides app bookmarking and organization features for general users. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Parents or guardians should decide whether children may use the app based on applicable laws, Apple App Store rules, and family device management requirements.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features, legal requirements, third-party SDKs, iCloud capabilities, or App Store review requirements. When we update the policy, we will revise the effective date on this page. For material changes, we will try to provide notice in the app, on the App Store page, or on this page.
