AppPin Terms of Use
Welcome to AppPin. AppPin helps you discover, save, organize, and track App Store app information. By using AppPin, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
1. Service Description
AppPin's core features include searching App Store apps, viewing app details, saving apps, creating folders, adding notes, marking downloaded apps, recording recent views, tracking price or version changes, and saving App Store links through the iOS share sheet. AppPin can also sync a favorites snapshot through Apple iCloud when you choose to use that feature.
AppPin is not a phone cleaning tool. It does not automatically delete, uninstall, hide, or manage other apps on your device. AppPin provides app information organization and recovery clues; any decision to uninstall, reinstall, download, or purchase an app is made by you through Apple or iOS system services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
AppPin is intended for general users. You are responsible for using the app in compliance with applicable laws, Apple App Store rules, and these Terms. AppPin does not currently provide its own account system and does not require you to register or sign in to a developer-operated server. If you use iCloud sync, App Store downloads, purchases, or reinstall features, the related account, payment, storage, and security mechanisms are provided by Apple and governed by Apple's terms.
3. User Content and Local Data
Folders, notes, download markers, tracking preferences, recent views, and similar content you create or save in AppPin are your usage data. AppPin stores this information locally by default. If you choose to use iCloud sync, related data may be stored and synced through Apple iCloud.
You are responsible for ensuring that notes, folder names, and other custom content do not violate the rights of others and do not contain illegal, harmful, fraudulent, harassing, hateful, explicit, malicious, or otherwise inappropriate material. Because AppPin does not currently operate its own server, we usually cannot actively view, moderate, or recover your local content.
4. Third-Party Content and Apple Services
App names, icons, screenshots, descriptions, ratings, prices, versions, developer information, charts, and search results shown in AppPin mainly come from public services provided by Apple or from App Store pages. Third-party app information may change at any time and may vary by region, device, network condition, Apple service status, or developer settings.
AppPin does not own third-party app content and does not make recommendations, warranties, or promises on behalf of Apple or any third-party developer. When you download, purchase, subscribe to, refund, rate, review, or use a third-party app through the App Store, you must follow Apple's terms and the terms and policies of the relevant third-party developer.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use AppPin in any way that may harm AppPin, Apple services, other users, or third parties, including but not limited to:
- Reverse engineering, cracking, bypassing security limits, or attempting to extract non-public interfaces.
- Using automated scripts, unusually high-frequency requests, or other methods that interfere with Apple's public services or AppPin's normal operation.
- Using AppPin for illegal, infringing, fraudulent, harassing, spam, or other improper purposes.
- Impersonating AppPin, the developer, Apple, or any third party, or misleading others into believing you are authorized by them.
- Copying, modifying, distributing, selling, renting, or sublicensing AppPin's code, interface, graphics, trademarks, or other protected content without permission.
6. Fees and Future Changes
The current version of AppPin is free to use and does not currently provide developer-operated subscriptions, advertising tracking, or server accounts. AppPin uses third-party software libraries for network requests, interface layout, and crash diagnostics; please see the Privacy Policy for details about data handling by the crash diagnostics SDK. If paid features, subscriptions, advertising, analytics SDKs, server sync, or an account system are added in the future, we will describe relevant pricing, benefits, cancellation methods, and data handling changes where appropriate, and update these Terms and the Privacy Policy when needed.
Any purchases, subscriptions, refunds, taxes, or payment disputes through the App Store are generally handled by Apple's payment system and App Store rules.
7. Data Backup and Risk
AppPin works to keep local storage and iCloud sync stable, but we cannot guarantee that data will never be lost, delayed, conflicted, or corrupted across all devices, system versions, network conditions, or iCloud states. Before uninstalling apps, reinstalling the system, switching Apple IDs, disabling iCloud, or clearing app data, you should confirm that important favorites and notes are properly saved.
If you delete AppPin, clear app data, disable iCloud, delete iCloud files, or change devices, some saved data may not be recoverable. Because AppPin does not currently operate its own server, we usually cannot recover deleted local or iCloud data from a developer server.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppPin is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that AppPin will always be error-free, uninterrupted, completely secure, or fully meet your needs. We also do not guarantee that App Store information, prices, rankings, ratings, versions, or availability will always be accurate, complete, or timely.
You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on information shown in AppPin, including downloading, purchasing, uninstalling, reinstalling, subscribing, requesting refunds, or taking any other action. AppPin is not responsible for the quality, safety, functionality, content, price changes, removal, compatibility, or developer conduct of third-party apps.
9. Intellectual Property
AppPin's name, interface design, icons, copy, code, and other content created by us are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, publish, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works based on AppPin without our written permission, except where permitted by law.
Apple, App Store, iCloud, iPhone, iOS, and related marks are trademarks or service marks of Apple Inc. AppPin is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple Inc. unless expressly stated otherwise.
10. Service Changes and Termination
We may update, suspend, limit, or remove parts of AppPin based on product plans, technical limits, Apple policies, legal requirements, or operational needs. We will try to avoid unnecessary impact on existing users, but certain features may be affected by Apple services, iCloud status, system permissions, or App Store review requirements.
You may stop using AppPin at any time by deleting the app, clearing local data, or managing iCloud data. If you violate these Terms or use AppPin improperly, we reserve the right to limit related use or take necessary action to the extent permitted by law.
11. Terms Updates
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in features, legal requirements, or App Store requirements. When we update the Terms, we will revise the effective date on this page. For material changes, we will try to provide notice in the app, on the App Store page, or on this page when appropriate. Your continued use of AppPin after the Terms are updated means that you accept the updated Terms.
